You will need to make a copy of the "DOUBLE EVENT PROBABILITY" for each of your students.
This lesson will deal with mutually exclusive event probability (events that do not effect the outcome of each other). This lesson (one class period) is intended to follow "DOUBLE EVENT INVESTIGATION", and to provide double event practice problems (again working toward probability in genetics). Your students will find the probability of two events occurring such as rolling a pair of dice, or selecting a pair of socks from a drawer. The exercise set concludes with a beginning problem in genetics.
Students will be able to calculate the probabilities for two mutually exclusive events.
