Dr. Zaitseva is holding a crystal to illustrate to Joan Buchanan, School Board President, San Ramon Valley Unified School District, what Laura Seeley, AP chemistry teacher from Monte Vista High School, will be growing during her internship at LLNL. Ms. Seeley's students will be growing crystals similar to these in the classroom. The students can expect to grow crystals weighing approximately 3 lbs. in 3 days time. |
